to run TSFTP with the TSAC ActiveX Terminal Services Client ?
In order to use TSFTP with the TSAC ActiveX Client you must follow these
steps:
1. Install TSFTP on the server and on the client.
2. Close any Terminal Server session you may have opened.
3. Add the following line to your connect.asp file:
(located in the web folder where you installed the TSAC to)
MsTsc.AdvancedSettings.PluginDlls = "TSFTPClient.DLL"
Q: How do I disable file upload or download for a user/group?
You can disable upload/download capabilities in TSFTP for specify user.
In main menu select user config -> Add user and changing the user
settings.
Q: Do I need to open any additional TCP/IP ports on my firewall?
You do not need to open any additional TCP/IP ports for WtsFtp.
WtsFtp uses terminal services to transfer files so, once you get TS
services (port 3389 by default) to path through you firewall, you can
use WtsFtp.
Q: Does TSFTP support 64 bit versions of Windows 2003/Vista?
Yes, both TSFTP server side and client side support Windows 2003/Vista
64 bit.
